Western Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC-WR), has released Notification No. RRC/WR/04/2025 (Apprentice) dated 18/02/2026 for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 5,349 apprenticeship slots have been notified for the year 2025–26 across various Divisions and Workshops. Eligible ITI pass candidates can apply online through the official website before the closing date.

Eligibility Details
Candidates must have passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system with minimum 50% aggregate marks and possess ITI certificate in relevant trade from NCVT recognized institute. Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible. Candidates must meet the age criteria as on the closing date 23-03-2026.

Training & Stipend
Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for 01 year. Stipend will be paid as per Railway Board norms and Apprentices Act, 1961. No hostel facility will be provided. Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee permanent employment in Railways.
