Eligibility Details

Candidates applying for the Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2026-27 must be Indian citizens and satisfy the prescribed educational qualification, age limit and minimum sports achievement norms applicable to the respective pay level and sports discipline. Selection Process

  1. Sports Trial
    • Eligible candidates will appear for a Sports Trial to assess their game skill, physical fitness and overall performance.
    • Candidates must secure at least 25 marks out of 40 in the trial to be declared FIT for further assessment.
  2. Interview
    • Candidates declared FIT in the Sports Trial will appear for the Interview.
    • The Interview includes assessment of recognized sports achievements and educational qualification.
  3. Merit Preparation
    • The final merit list will be prepared out of 100 marks.
    • Selection will be made purely on merit according to Railway Sports Quota Recruitment Rules.
  4. Document Verification
    • Shortlisted candidates must produce all original educational certificates, sports achievement certificates, identity proof and other required documents.
  5. Medical Examination
    • Finally selected candidates must qualify the prescribed Railway Medical Examination before appointment.
