Eligibility Details

Candidates applying for SBI Probationary Officer Recruitment 2026 must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Selection Process

  1. Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
    • Online objective examination consisting of 100 marks.
    • No sectional cut-off in Preliminary Examination.
    • Candidates approximately 10 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
  2. Phase-II: Main Examination
    • Objective Test carrying 200 marks.
    • Descriptive Test carrying 30 marks.
    • Descriptive Test will be conducted immediately after the objective test.
  3. Phase-III: Psychometric Test
    • Personality profiling and behavioral assessment.
    • Used as an input for the interview process.
  4. Group Exercise & Interview
    • Shortlisted candidates will participate in group exercises.
    • Personal interview will assess communication skills, banking awareness and leadership qualities.
  5. Final Merit List
    • Prepared based on Main Examination and Phase-III performance.
    • Final selection subject to document verification and medical fitness.
