AIIMS Bathinda Faculty Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for 77 Professor, Additional Professor & More Posts

AIIMS Bathinda has announced a total of 77 Group-A Faculty vacancies, including 17 Professor, 5 Additional Professor, 23 Associate Professor and 32 Assistant Professor posts across various clinical and para-clinical departments.

The notification was released on 31 July 2026. The last date to submit the mandatory Google Form is 21 August 2026 (05:00 PM), while the hard copy of the application must reach AIIMS Bathinda by 28 August 2026 (05:00 PM).

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955. Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualifications, teaching/research experience and other eligibility conditions for the respective faculty post.

The educational qualification varies according to the department and faculty level. Eligible qualifications include MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., MDS, Ph.D. and other equivalent qualifications with the prescribed teaching and research experience.

The upper age limit is 58 years for Professor and Additional Professor posts, while it is 50 years for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts. The crucial date for determining age is 21 August 2026.

The selection process includes scrutiny of applications, shortlisting (written examination if required), personal interview, document verification and medical examination. The final selection will be based on the recommendations of the Standing Selection Committee.

Normally, selection is based on a personal interview. However, if the number of applications is large, AIIMS Bathinda may conduct a written examination for shortlisting eligible candidates before the interview.

The salary depends on the post. Professors are placed in Level-14A (₹1,68,900 – ₹2,20,400), Additional Professors in Level-13A2+, Associate Professors in Level-13A1+, and Assistant Professors in Level-12 (₹1,01,500 – ₹1,67,400), along with admissible allowances and NPA wherever applicable.

The application fee is ₹2,360 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, ₹1,180 for SC/ST candidates, while Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from payment of the application fee. Payment must be made online through the SBI Collect portal.

No. Candidates must complete both stages of the application process. Along with submitting the mandatory Google Form, they must also send the duly filled hard copy application with self-attested documents to AIIMS Bathinda before the prescribed deadline.

No. According to the notification, interviews will be conducted only at AIIMS Bathinda. Online interviews through platforms such as Skype or any other mode will not be permitted.
