Important Information
Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has released Advertisement No. 01/2026/ST-36 for engagement of ITI Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. A total of 10 apprentice vacancies have been announced for Electrician and Lineman trades at 220kV Sub Station, BBMB, Kurukshetra for the apprenticeship session 2026-27. Eligible ITI candidates can submit their online applications through the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal from 02 June 2026 to 01 July 2026. Selection will be purely merit-based and there will be no written examination or interview.

Eligibility Details
Candidates must have passed the 10th Class examination with a minimum of 40% marks from a recognized board and should possess a valid National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade. Applicants must have completed the respective ITI course and should possess a valid Aadhaar Card for registration on the NAPS portal. Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

Selection Process

Merit Based Selection

- 30% weightage from Class 10 marks.

- Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the district where the project/unit is located.
- If seats remain vacant, preference will be extended to state residents and then open merit candidates.
