Eligibility Detail

Legal Provision
- As per the provisions contained under Section 29 of the Haryana Cooperative Societies Act, 1984, the Bank intends to co-opt two Professional Directors on its Board of Directors.

Educational Qualification & Experience
- The applicant must have a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in any one of the following fields:
- Accountancy: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant.
- Agriculture: Agricultural Graduate/Post-Graduate/Agricultural Engineer.
- Banking: Graduate with experience at Senior Management level.
- Finance/Economics/Commerce/Business Administration: CFA or Post Graduate in Economics/Commerce/Finance/Management/MBA.
- Law: Law Graduate/Post-Graduate.

Residential Requirement
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the State of Haryana.

Financial & Banking Status
- The applicant should not be a defaulter of the Short Term Cooperative Credit Structure.
- The applicant should not be a defaulter of any other bank.

Business Relationship Restrictions
- The applicant should not have had any business relationship with the Bank during the last three preceding years.
- Persons having commercial dealings with the Bank (such as contractor, Legal Advisor, Auditor, or other professionals) will be treated as having business relationship.
- However, persons having deposits with or borrowing from the Bank will not be treated as having business relationship for this purpose.

Professional Work Restriction
- The co-opted Director must undertake that he/she will not take up any professional work (statutory audit, concurrent audit, legal engagement, empanelment as lawyer, etc.) in any bank other than SCBs/DCCBs/UCBs during the tenure.
- This restriction will also apply to the same bank for two years after demitting the office of Director.

Allowances & Benefits
- The Professional Director will be eligible for Travelling Allowance (T.A.).
- Sitting allowance of ₹3000/- per meeting as fixed by RCS Haryana.
