Important Information
Government Multi Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector-16, Chandigarh under the Health Department has invited applications for engagement of House Surgeons for a six-month tenure from July 2026 to December 2026. A total of 37 House Surgeon vacancies are available across various clinical departments including Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, ICU, Orthopedics, Eye, ENT and Skin. Eligible MBBS graduates who have completed their compulsory internship can apply in the prescribed format before the last date. Selection will be made strictly on the basis of academic merit.

Eligibility Details
Candidates must possess MBBS degree from a recognized University and should have successfully completed compulsory rotating internship on or before the date of application. Applicants must also hold permanent registration with Medical Council of India (MCI), National Medical Commission (NMC), or State Medical Council. Candidates who have completed MBBS from abroad must submit the screening test pass certificate issued by the Medical Council of India along with marks details. Candidates who have already completed two House Jobs anywhere in India are not eligible to apply.
