Preference in Selection
- State Preference
- 25% of the seats in each trade will be offered to candidates possessing the domicile/residency certificate of the State where the concerned Project/Power Station/Unit is located.
- Second Preference
- If reserved seats remain vacant, preference will be given to candidates belonging to the State where the concerned Project/Power Station/Unit is situated.
- Open Merit
- Remaining vacancies will be filled strictly on the basis of open merit.
- Tie Breaking
- If two candidates secure equal marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be given preference.
