Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India. A Postgraduate degree in General Medicine is preferred. Applicants must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital or clinic as a medical practitioner.

Important Note For Ranchi: This is a part-time contractual medical role in RBI. Candidates with clinical experience and proximity to RBI office location may be preferred. Eligible candidates may apply as per the format given in Annex-I only. Application in a sealed cover should reach the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi – 834001 on or before 17:00 hrs on March 27, 2026. The sealed cover should be super-scribed as ‘Application for the post of Medical Consultant on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.
Important Note for Kohima: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up one (01) Unreserved (UR) post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC) on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration for Reserve Bank of India office (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) located in Kohima. Eligible candidates may apply in the format given in Annex-III only. Applications in a sealed cover super-scribed as ‘Application for the post of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’ shall reach General Manager (Officer-In-Charge), Reserve Bank of India, 1st floor, T.
