IBPS CSA Recruitment 2026 Notification Out – Apply Online for Customer Service Associate (CSA) Posts

IBPS CSA Recruitment 2026 is the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA) in participating Public Sector Banks for the vacancies of 2027-28.

The online application process starts on 01 August 2026 and closes on 21 August 2026. The Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled for October 2026, while the Main Examination will be conducted in December 2026.

Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 01 August 2026. Applicants should have been born not earlier than 02 August 1998 and not later than 01 August 2006 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government rules.

The participating banks include Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, and Union Bank of India.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India as specified in the official IBPS notification.

The selection process consists of an Online Preliminary Examination followed by an Online Main Examination. Candidates shortlisted in the Main Examination will be considered for provisional allotment to participating Public Sector Banks.

The Preliminary Examination consists of English Language (30 Questions), Numerical Ability (35 Questions), and Reasoning Ability (35 Questions). The examination carries a total of 100 questions for 100 marks with a duration of 60 minutes.

The Main Examination consists of General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. It contains 160 questions carrying 200 marks with a total duration of 125 minutes.

The application fee is ₹175 (inclusive of GST) for SC, ST, PwBD, ESM and DESM candidates, while all other candidates are required to pay ₹850 (inclusive of GST).

No. Candidates can apply for vacancies in only one State or Union Territory. The online examination will normally be conducted in the selected State/UT, although IBPS may allot another centre due to administrative reasons.

The basic pay of a Customer Service Associate (CSA) starts at ₹24,050 with applicable annual increments. Selected candidates will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance and other benefits as per the rules of the allotted Public Sector Bank.

The Preliminary Examination call letters are tentatively scheduled to be released in September 2026, while the Main Examination call letters are expected in November 2026.
